Have you ever felt like you’ve lost yourself a little? Like you’ve gradually realised you’ve been living on autopilot? Ticking off to-do lists, showing up for everyone else, but just feeling a bit stuck?
If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone. A few years ago, I found myself in that exact spot. Feeling restless, uncertain, and a little stuck in my own life (and in all honestly I often feel that way still). My solution..? On a whim I booked a solo trip to Madeira. I was equal doses of excited and scared but it was quite frankly life changing. Just going somewhere new, for me with only me to think about was liberating and eye opening.
There’s something about stepping outside of your daily routine that shakes you awake in the best way. It reminds you that you’re capable, that you’re allowed to do things purely for you, and that breaking the daily routine isn’t just for people who have it all figured out. What started out as a solo week overseas cascaded into so many incredible adventures and experiences over the last several years but more than anything the ability to say yes… yes to ME, and trust me it will be game changing.
So if you’ve been feeling a little lost lately, here’s my gentle nudge: do something for you. It doesn’t have to be extravagant or far away, but it should be something just to fill your cup. Here are a few ideas:
Taking yourself on a solo coffee date - no phone, just you, your thoughts, and a good book.
Trying something that scares you a little (hello, cold water dips, rock scrambling, or navigating a trail alone).
Going somewhere completely solo (for me that looked like music concerts, stand up comedy nights and group classes and I would be tempted to say I ended up enjoying them more when I was alone).
Learning a new skill you’ve been wanting to for a while and actually put aside time to do it.
Reach out to that social media friend you’ve been talking to for ages and set a date for a meet up (for more on how to do that check out this blog post).
Booking an epic weekend away where the only expectations you have to meet are your own.
If that last one is calling to you… well, let me introduce you to the Made Wild Snowdonia Adventure Weekend.
A Weekend to Reset, Just for You.
Imagine this: You’re standing on a mountain, wind in your hair, feet firmly planted on the earth, and for the first time in ages, you feel like yourself again. You spent the morning hiking with an amazing group of women, pushing yourself just enough to remember how strong you are. Later, you’ll warm up with a cozy dinner and a mug of something delicious, sharing stories with like-minded gals who also needed this trip more than they realised.
This weekend is about getting out of your head and back into your body. Learning new skills, breathing in fresh air, and remembering that life isn’t meant to be lived within the four walls of your comfort zone. It’s for women who are craving a reset, a little adventure, and the kind of confidence that only comes from doing something that scares you a little.
If that sounds like you, I’d love for you to join me. This is your sign.
🚀 Dates: 20-22 June ‘25

You deserve it and you won’t regret it!
See you on the trails,
